Winter Solstice Nude Charity Swim

The 2026 swim will be held on Sunday 21 June at 7.12am at Yarralumla Beach, ACT.
The swim raises money for Lifeline Canberra and encourages swimmers to wash away negativity and feel a sense of renewal for the upcoming solar year by stripping off and swimming in the chilly waters of Lake Burley Griffin on the shortest day of the year.
2025 saw a record $94,024 raised and over 420 participants – Help us reach our 2026 target of $110,000 for the 10th year.
Ainslie to Everest 2026

Elevating mental health awareness and raising critical funds for Lifeline Canberra, the annual Ainslie to Everest event sees firefighters from ACT Fire & Rescue push themselves to the extreme both physically and mentally.
Teams take on the challenge of climbing the equivalent elevation of Mount Everest (8,848 metres) on the Mount Ainslie Trail in Canberra. Wearing full Breathing Apparatus gear weighing approximately 12kg, each team member will complete 32km, collectively conquering the height of the world’s highest peak.
