These Bookfairs raise a major portion of the funding needed to keep the Lifeline Canberra telephone counselling lines available to the community.
Our main Spring and Autumn Bookfairs offer around 200,000 donated items for sale. We have a wide range of fiction and non-fiction books, including rare books and collectables, children's books and foreign language books. You'll also find magazines and pamphlets, comics, maps and atlases, audio tapes and talking books, records and CDs, videos and DVDs, games and jigsaws.
Entry to the Lifeline Canberra Bookfairs is by gold coin donation. You can pay for your purchases with cash, cheque, credit card (Mastercard or Visa) or EFTPOS.

Spring 2010 Sunday Extra: There will be a special extra sale in the Kakadu Room on Sunday 26th September for the collectors amongst us. It will have an eclectic mix of general miscellanea and military reference material for collector/modeller/enthusiast. Material will include ephemera, books, part works, magazines, DVDs and videos relating to military, transport, technology, and collecting in general.

New Look Bookfair in Spring 2010
The Spring Bookfair will be better then ever, with extra space around the tables to give buyers more room - for browsing, moving around, waiting for family and friends or accessing the EPIC cafe. Two large marquees will adjoin the Budawang Building - one for the tallying and cash register area, one for bulk purchases.
