The Checkout Process
All profits from the Lifeline Canberra Bookfairs go to supporting the Lifeline Canberra telephone-based crisis counselling service.
The Autumn and Spring Bookfairs are held at Exhibition Park in Canberra (EPIC) in the Budawang Building - the first building on the right entering from Flemington Road, Mitchell. Map
Free Parking is normally available onsite and at EPIC's Flemington Road and Wells Station Road car parks.
Bus services: There are bus services that run to EPIC. The Bookfairs open at 10am each day. Check the ACTION Bus web site for bus times.
Cloakroom: There is a free cloakroom available. Customers who wish to go into the Kakadu Room to view the rare books can leave bags of already purchased books safely at the cloakroom.
Carry-bags: We encourage you to bring your own carry-bags. Alternatively, you can purchase Lifeline carry-bags for $2 at the entrance to the main hall.
Refreshments: EPIC runs a small cafe in the main hall for purchase of drinks, sandwiches etc.
Book Donations are always welcome. If bringing them to the Bookfair please drop them off at the cloakroom. Click here to find out about making donations at other times.

The Winter Mini Bookfair is held in the auditorium of the Vikings Club, 6 Ricardo Street, Erindale. Map
Parking: There is parking available in the Vikings Club car park.
Bus Services: There are bus services that run to Erindale Centre. The Bookfair opens at 9am on each day. Check the ACTION Bus website for bus times.

After selecting items to purchase, please proceed to the tally tables near the exit. The total cost of your purchases will be calculated there, before you move to the cash registers to pay for your purchases. Payment can be made by cash, cheque, credit card (Mastercard or Visa) or EFTPOS.
If you need help to move heavy books, please approach one of the volunteers.
